Spread the love

This year, after the troubles that where unexpected at the end of the last, I needed to rethink what I will be doing. As I shared in the 2023 Review, after the main detrimental incident, it’s been tough to get things back on track. With the wonderful assistance of friends, family, and the amazing hiking group I’ve joined, I’ve started to open to get all of what I dream of for my future again.

To ease into my plans, it’s been a bit rough. As it turns out, I’m still super gullible, I stick to people-pleasing, I prioritize others’ needs and desires over my own. The expense is unfortunate though, it allows people to get close to me, enjoy what I keep doing for their needs and desires, over and over, then they give almost nothing for my own. The year started a bit tough, but it feels good to slow down and rethink what I will put up with.

It’s good of you to constantly help everyone around you, just avoid the people who refuse to help you when you need it as well. We’re all humans, with our own needs. As harsh as it may seem, if someone enjoys your company and what you give them every day, they’d do the same for you, whenever you need it. No matter how rare it might be.

Me

Always remember, by being a good person, it isn’t intended to sacrifice your own well-being. Setting clear boundaries can help, no need for apology or guilt when you express your “no.” If you prioritize your self-care, by making sure you do activities that nourish your mind, body, and soul, you’ll improve in tremendous ways. Stick to your limits, you know what you cannot handle emotionally, or physically. Express your needs in a clear, respectful manner. Recognise when you’re just people-pleasing for people, getting nothing in return, and adjust as needed to find the right people to hang around.

Analytics 2024

My stats haven’t picked up as I wanted to this year, it’s been difficult with the mindset shifts I went through to build up habits again. Ignoring the idea that it would be nice to have a better plan for what I post here. All in all, it still helps with my disability to give me fresh ways to think in more imaginative ways, every day. The jump to GA4 was missed, where it claimed I was using it, but it needed a brand new GA4 account instead, hence the large gap in views.

The Years Posts

It’s been an intense year, tons of hikes – didn’t share photos from all of them, got to meet tons of awesome people. All that’s needed is the hope that 2025 brings a ton of growth, achieving the goals I’ve set, and improving in more tremendous ways.
